Time for action. Osbourne needs to be stopped.

Please can you organise a peaceful demonstration, not about the cuts, but just that the banks caused the crisis and should pay through a Robin Hood tax. This has more chance of getting mass support.

Hi Jamie. The TUC is a supporting organisation of the Robin Hood Tax campaign, and we’re involved in their actions too – watch for more from the campaign soon. We’re also holding a mobilisation in London today. Hundreds of constituents will be gathering to visit their MPs, and part of their message will certainly be that there are clear alternatives to fast, deep cuts in spending, including a Robin Hood Tax, as well as other tax and tax evasion measures. You can find out more about the event at http://www.tuc.org.uk/alltogether

All demonstrations organised by the TUc and the Unions are indeting to be peaceful, but it is in the interest of the Tories and the Government for them to turn violent. Public support is then lost! So expect unmarked police cars turning up with thugs getting out, using violence on the demonstrators and police and baling back into their cars. This was the tactic I saw at Whopping in the 80s. Heavy handed policing used deliberatley to cause violence and the media reporting that the deomnstrators started it. Expect all of this and remember the first casualty of any dispute is the truth!

The March on 26th March must be focused on building a broad left alliance againts the Tory-led government’s economic restructuring of British society in favour of private interests and capitalist enterprise. The public sector is to be put out to tender to provate providers, and become a patchwork of provste and voluntary sector corporations. This will deliver “choice” in the form of very basic services for the poor and expensive provison for those who can pay. Margaret Thatcher wanted a return to Victorian Values, Cameron is providing a victorianisation of the social order itself. A broad public opposition is now imperative, The government has no mandate for this and has been propped up by a Liberal Democrat betrayel of their voters. It is areturn to nineteenth century Liberalism; it has nothing to offer social democarts. If they had any spine they would leave the Lib Dems at this point.

I fear for the NHS and its apparent privatisation and the erosion of decent public sector jobs with pensions and protection. we should pay more tax to provide decent services and make sure none can evade paying. I am apensioner and feel sorry for young peopl wha have no prospects for their future. the cuts in the armed forces appall me. looking back in history shows us that we cannot be complacent and we may need an airforce and navy that can move quickly, note the falklands

The Libdems have supported the the Tories with their drastic attacks on the people of Britain. The NHS “Reforms”, front line services, local authority jobs cuts, attacks on benefits, the sick the poor and those who will loose their jobs through no fault of their own. My MP (Danny Alexander) is remaining remarkably silent on these issues and many more, shame on him! I suppose after the next election (Libdems will be annihilated) he will no doubt be given a safe Tory set down in England.
All because of the bankers mistakes!! Oh! he wanted to sell off our forests!

can we have a ballot for industrial action across all services, as I feel that this government will continue not to listen, do what they want, when they want, and are intent on destroying this country, this also applies to Alex Salmond and his Pseudo-nationalist in Scotland, who ar intent on trying to break up the UK. In these difficult times, it surely is better together, than apart. ALL OUT STRIKES NOW!
